If "dot dot dot" is the official punctuation of the 21st century, exclamation marks are definitely the emblem of the nineties. Everything that was proper and outdated (even for the 50's) about the 50's was radical and self-indulgent in the 70's. Everything loud and obnoxious in the 80's was tawdry, trite, and even more obnoxious in the 90's. Take the boy bands, for instance. The queue for "adulthood" has had an upswing in the times of modern, unlike the wonderful ages of naivete past. Can you resist, the apocalyptic theme of teen drama, the dominatrix-pizzaz, and most importantly, the tearjerking, groovy beats?? We didn't think so!!
Here's wishing for a comeback from Backstreet boys Aj, Nick, Whatshisface, EthnicBackstreet, and Thatoneguy!
